I grew up terrified of it but through the Freeschoolin'/Unschooling life, we have learned to LOVE it.

Happy December All!
We have been busy, busy, busy but mostly stayed home.

Hope has had full food freedom, barring safety concerns, since she was 2; she's almost 5 now.

During our surprise internet sabbatical we ventured into gingerbread land!
I made up the dough using organic ingredients and chilled it, rolling out one of the 4 slabs a day until I have only one left.
Freeschoolin' Daddy made an amazing ginger bread house, we did lovely cookies and Hope even had her hand at one herself! So much to learn by making and eating our own treats for the holidays!
